Property Overview and TMI
The 8,700 hectare Heath-Falcon Project encompasses multiple copper prospects on one property - in settings analogous to both the Mt Milligan and Kwanika copper porphyry deposits. Prospect boundaries are shown on the adjoining magnetics (TMI) map of the property.
The advanced Heath Merge and Falcon prospects are permited for drilling until 2029. The three Heath Merge recommended drill sites are marked as rotated yellow squares on this target identification map. They are described in detail on the Heath Merge Prospect page.
Three additional less-advanced copper target areas on the property are described on the Heath North, Contact and Majazz pages.
Redton has maintained detailed digital and paper records of all exploration work carried out on its claims since 2005. Drill core from the Falcon Prospect is stored in stacks at the Techentlo Lake Lodge, where it is available for inspection.
The small white lozenze shape in the images on this page close to the Heath Merge target is the size of the block cave in the New Afton mine - provided as an example of a target size and shape. Information about the New Afton mine appears on the Regional Analogues page.
Geology and Geochronology
U/Pb geochronology results determined in 2023 and 2034 plotted over 2023 geology map.
At 199Ma and 196Ma respectively, both the Heath Merge and Falcon drill targets fall within the “maximum Cu porphyry likelihood age range" for the region.
The same now applies to the Majazz target.
